whois command
« on: January 27, 2012, 10:24:15 AM »

Hello,
well today i played a rng game and during the game someone whispers to my name in german. he said that he knows that i'm in this game because of the /whois command which showed him, who in this game was, but he didn't knew which color i am...

so now i'm here to report this bug, this command should not work in rng because of fairness
 @ Mul_Daya - IT IS NOT FAIR :D

it does -    else it would be completly pointless to hide the names of the players before gamestart and ingame

You would have to be specific in what way it changed that specific game? :D

it's not about this  game, it's about that, that this command has a high risk of abusing - thats why it should be deleted for future game´s   and it's ridiculas to let it stay in game because of the following reason:
  • names covered the names before gamestart- even if the colours change after start names because of risk  of abusing...
  • names covered ingame   becauseof risk of abusing...
  • function of seeing names of players of running games at the hompage  - function dissabled because of risk  of abusing...
  • and yes, through this command you can see who is who - because the order of the names are exactly like the order of players in the "allied" menu...

the only reason, THE ONLY ONE, why mul wants to keep this command is, that he can keep abusing this command thats why you haven't even tried to list valid arguments of keeping this command

and don't say, that knowing who is ingame does not influenz your actions - if you say so,  it would be a stupid lie and you know it - then please quit being a mod, moderators should be honoralbe and honest

- i can tell you why, there is NONE

I never abuse it?
And btw, talk to the programmers of wc3 about removing it, got nothing to do with rng.
