You were speaking about Taunt. I never said it was useless. I said Tank C were useless. And they do not have Taunt.

(Fallen makes a good point who the heck has time to micro tank c however tanks will be doing the same work for a long time and not many people avoid damage from tank C  because its just not good use of their time.... usually)..

1....More useful in bigger battles

Time and space are what make tank C useful...Mortars attack em they just move a bit.
10 marines get attacked, sure you can move em a bit but it takes more formation work and if you don't get them all 2 move you will lose some and have decreased your dps because of the fatalities and also offer potential bounty

2....Can be more efficient and used for Support and target/decoy

Longer sustainability offering more security during long fights/bigger battles then 10 marines would...To stem off from point one, if they are being targeted it is horrible use of the enemies time which make your other units more effective..they also take up less space -

3.....Useful on Defense..Take's up lil space

If you have a small melee blockade/bottleneck against a bigger melee rush, they can help eliminate the melee before reaching the inside faster then riflemen could because you would be able to fit them into tighter spaces as opposed 2 stacking riflemen, or you can put them behind riflemen for more effectiveness

4.....Overall

All in all Tank C will still be alive to do the same exact damage and probably be around while both armies on each side have become very thin and with less units to effectively target tanks......time....space....decoy/support and being unmatched at the right time.

My conclusion -semi not useless when used at the right times by acting as a lesser tank A...

Tank B cannot be compared with C or A due to there vulnerability to the most basic units...the riflemen

Tank Cs are pretty decent to clean the game up with. Very effective vs rifles and can boost your kd.

Poor decision. I was there at the conception of Revolution 3.1 units, so you can't talk about being too old  ::)

I like the abilities of the new tanks...

With the new map I've been in a slump lately in FFA (winning like 40-50%). 1v1 is where it's at for now... FFA will come later ;)

No. I can show you a replay of my mass tanks being absolutely raped in the late game.

It is pretty embarrassing to be honest... I had a 5000-2000 KD and had a guaranteed win, so I got cocky and decided to break someone's Australia defence. Break it I did, but not before my KD was 1.4 or something...
Basically, they are epic if you know how to use them. But if you don't or you play them like a retard (like I did) then they are a fast ticket to a poor KD and thus poor Skill.

A mistake with Tank C that many players are making is, that they are having a stack of them in front of their army.
Tank C can be usefull, yes. But honestly... if you're skilled enough to use Tank C in a very effective way, you are most likely so skilled you won't have to use them. Or maybe I'm the only one who is so lazy? :P

easily countered by about  4 tank A rifles Mortors and about 8 Tank B + priests

The cool part about Tank's is they all offset each other. No longer do I have to sit in a battle that lasts 50 centuries, because people are smart enough to just use tanks. Saves money, time, and I've not met anyone that can beat me in a tanks war, YET. They are not imba, they add a very nice dynamic to the game, and provide a plethora of new strategies to use.

I was just wondering, in transport mode, wat kinda tank combinations would u use?

U have 1 transport, wat would be the ideal combination of tanks?
A transport got 12 spots, right?

Would for instance a combination of:

- 1 leet medic (roar), 2 tank A (taunt), 4 Tank B and 3 tank C work?
