I'm really interested in your guide. I just started playing RNG, but i fell in love with it. I'm looking for something to improve wherever i can. I want to be in top10 in 2 seasons...^^

If you read the table of contents, do you think there are some subjects I dont speak about and that should be necessary ? Or that you would like to see ?

If you're practicing a lot (yeah, first season I was a big nerd), you can get average to good (and it's a high level compared to most of the pubbies) or even pro (if you're like Ankbaah ) in one season.

Its taken me 2 1/2 seasons to get good. But I am def not pro yet.

My weaknesses are large scale multitasking. My late game unit make is still a little weak, but I am working on that. I am only decent with ships. Microing isn't natural to me yet.

Something I would really like help with, is learning to multitask and micro like the insane players you can never match 1v1, and its tough even with another pro backing you. The guys who can do 10 things at once and still micro their war fronts. I have a feeling its got to do with extra hotkeys and grouping, but I am not sure.

Looking forward to your guide. I would look around and ask the best multitasking micro players from devo and from out top 10 to assist you.

I'm mainly interested in late game techniques and how to avoid teaming or how to team someone and maybe key spots where to cut each continent if you are attacking it. Other than that i think there are only a few minor tricks in the first parts of the game that can be learned by anyone in a few games.

I think I will add a "How to improve this skill ?" on each strategy so everybody will know how to improve their skills on a particular subject.
For instance for your problem: Create an alternative account. Go on FFA RNG. Just overexpand and never stop, try to kill everyone in each game. You will have to multitask a lot and after few games you'll definitely be better.

Hmm, not a bad idea but kinda generic anyway, I'll add something about it.

And there are definitely things about teaming, how to avoid teaming and so on...

"Late Game Strategies" ? I'm not sure to understand. There're mainly strategies to use at any moment.

Guide is maybe on 25% of the way. I'm progressing quite quickly actually.

Unfortunately I can't play RNG where I am so I will need to review everything I did when I'll get back home. I'll also need a lot of replays and I'm affraid I wont be able to look to previous Wc3 patch games.

I have played plenty of games where the one who wins is the one who makes a massive army of army privates, marine majors, and medic lieutenants.


Changing the subject, Mortars: Do you think they are overrated? It seems to me that anytime I use them they lack the firepower to actually kill the enemy.
